The Chelsea Groton Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to the Child Adoption Resource Association to support Project Connecticut's Child. The funds will be used to evaluate families to adopt children from the state foster care system.

NEW LONDON, CT, October 29, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Chelsea Groton Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to the Child Adoption Resource Association to support Project Connecticut's Child. The funds will be used to evaluate families to adopt children from the state foster care system.

"Chelsea Groton Savings Bank, through the benevolence of the Foundation, will enable CARA to reach out to New London County individuals, couples, and families to ask them to consider adopting a child from Connecticut State foster care. Recruiting forever families is the goal of Project Connecticut's Child and this grant money will enable our agency to raise awareness concerning the great need for adoptive families among New London County residents."
