HeroBox Teams Up With Peachtree City Restaurants for "A Taste of Freedom"
Mike & C's will host a "Taste of Freedom" night with HeroBox every Monday night, to support U.S. combat soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

TYRONE, GA, September 08, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tyrone's local non-profit organization, HeroBox has now surpassed 3,000 requests for HeroBoxes from deployed troops. In response, founder Ryan Housley is asking for help to support our troops through restaurant nights dedicated to our heroes. Each restaurant involved with a "Taste of Freedom" offers a percentage of profits earned during the night to donate to HeroBox in its effort to aide the men and women deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Mike & C's have joined HeroBox to commend our American troops with a "Taste of Freedom". Come meet the HeroBox staff and join Mike & C's for a night of fun and philanthropy, every Monday beginning September 7th, from 6pm until 9pm at the Fayetteville location.

Mike & C's is known as the "untraditional" family sports grill offering breakfast, sports nights for local and national leagues, and a game room. The sports grill also caters events with a large menu for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Mike & C's is open in two locations, Peachtree City and the Summit Point Publix Center in Fayetteville, GA. HeroBox currently houses over 3000 soldiers in their database, all awaiting a care package. The organization is powered by volunteers across the nation to supply care packages to those soldiers. Corporate businesses, schools, churches, and families have all adopted soldiers to send thousands of boxes overseas. With the high demand for care packages HeroBox also seeks monetary and item donations to provide HeroBoxes to soldiers who have not been otherwise sponsored or adopted by area residents.
